Emerson Automation and Solutions in CREEC is looking for a Project Manager for Syncade Advance Services. This role reports to CREEC Operations Manager administratively and functionally to Syncade Advanced Services Manager.
Project Management :
Manage multiple end-customer projects at one time, which involve Syncade Advanced Services content (Scheduled Assessments, Upgrades, Migrations, Installations, Consultancy, FEED Studies, etc.
or Components Engineering content considered out of the Extended Components / Interface Support.
Review and Acknowledge Project Sales Handover documentation.
Plan and monitor projects to meet deadlines, quality and budget requirements.
Project maintenance (monitoring hours, project financials, completion of tasks).
Manage communications with the customers, team members and other stakeholders; schedule meetings and provide updates to keep track of progress.
Provide the required inputs and guidance to the Project Analyst to set up new projects in Oracle and Clarity, generate invoices, create reports, update funding and close projects.
Manage Project change control (additions to the scope, changes in the scope).
Generate project related documentation (PO ack letter, checklists, schedules, minutes of meetings, presentations, reports, etc.).
Review quality of deliverables.
Complete the Financial POR (Presidents Operating Report).
Proposal Management :
Main point of contact for the Product Engineering team when customers’ requests or needs that are raised through GSC tickets falls out of Guardian Support, or Extended Components / Interface Coverage, entailing a new / paid service opportunity.
Coordinate with Accounts teams to deliver the messages of new services opportunities to the end-customers.
Coordinate and develop technical proposals for customers with Syncade Advanced Services / Components Engineering content.
Participate and / or coordinate meetings with customers, SMEs and sales teams to gather requirements and confirm the solution proposed.
Create the proposal draft document and estimation spreadsheets, that will be used by the PSS NA Proposal Lead for pricing and DOA.
Generate internal estimations for Operations and contribute with the creation of their proposals, when Syncade Advanced Services or Components Engineering work is part of the scope.
Review the EET file and final proposal and provide inputs / confirmation to PSS Proposals, as needed.
Participate on Proposals kick-off, coordination, operations review and risk meetings.
Resource Planning :
Support the Advanced Services department with the Resource Scheduling, to meet resource demand throughout the different projects.
Maintenance of the AS Resource Planner Tool.
Support Operations Project Managers by handling requests and assignment of resources to their projects.
Process Improvement and Documentation :
Develop and support process improvement initiatives and best practices in the Syncade Advanced Services organization.
Develop strategies to track resource capacity, scheduling and allocation.
Provide inputs for the generation of internal metrics reports.
Support the maintenance of the Advanced Services SharePoint and documentation.
Mentoring and coaching.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired.
Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision and be able to provide management oversight.
Supervision and coordination of engineers, designers, technicians, and 3rd party suppliers and contractors.
Ability to travel to client locations usually for business trips.
