Your experience and knowledge of Dynamics 365(AX / F&O) solutions and associated business processes combined with an appreciation of associated technologies are imperative in launching your career at DXC.
This is a varied and demanding role involving all aspects of implementing Dynamics 365(AX / F&O) solutions from pre-sales work through the project life cycle to go-live and on-going support.
Your involvement with clients will include off-site and on-site work and you will be encouraged to develop your Dynamics knowledge and achieve relevant certifications.
Your primary role will include consulting, integration, designing, develop and implementation of business workflow using Dynamics 365 AX / F&O and leading software development technologies.
To facilitate the successful installation and maintenance of the customers’ software systems, including off site and on site work.
You will be encouraged and expected to develop your professional technical and consulting skills.
Responsibilities will include manage project, team leading and working independently to determine client requirements, create proposals, performing technical design, coding, testing, implementation, and support of custom web applications.
This position requires the ability to perform at various levels of client interaction with the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.
Developer will telecommute with some onsite meetings.
Your day to day tasks will include :
Delighting the customers with exceptional customer service
Manage and develop customer relationships and perceptions to achieve mutual goals
Utilize your knowledge of business processes and best practices to advise and guide the customer during pre-implementation consulting engagements such as Requirements Gathering, Fit Gap Assessments, Design and Configuration.
Implementation planning and the delivery of value added work, to scope, deadline and budget
Running client workshops on business processes, business requirements and system design
Business and systems analysis and documentation
Product design and gap analysis to standard product functionality
Production of design, system, user and procedural documentation
Application configuration and setup
Provide system training to both internal and external clients
Development and delivery of testing strategies
Liaising with on-shore and off-shore development teams to deliver robust solutions on time
Managing change control
Design and execution of data migration strategies
Go-live and post-live support
Ad-hoc tasks as and when required by your team lead

Demonstrate the capacity to plan, prioritize and organize your time, project schedules and multiple project activities.
Identify and analyze risks and issues for the program or project portfolio in conjunction with project managers
Demonstrate the ability to work systematically and logically to analyze situations, resolve problems, identify causes and anticipate implications.
Develop and test detailed functional designs for business solution components and prototypes.
Write development specifications and interface with customers to test modifications and resolve any issues that arise.
Participate within data migrations, integrations, report design and design of security
Skills and Experience
Basic technical requirements :
5+ Microsoft Dynamics AX or D365 F&O implementation experience
Enhance / Customize Dynamics 365(AX / F&O) for customers based on their business requirements.
Ability to provide technical support; troubleshoot support requests, find the issue and implement a solution
5+ years’ experience at least in AX 2009-2012 or D365
Experience with migration to D365 would be a benefit
5+ years development experience in modifying or creating forms, SSRS reports, tables or custom logic in X++
6+ years development experience in .NET and C#
6+ years MS SQL Server and SSRS experience
8+ years Business Analysis experience
Versed in SDLC and best practices for application development
Experience in MS Visual Studio is a plus but not required
Self-Motivated; willing to take on new opportunities and learn new technologies
Must have ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
Good team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to lead and mentor team members
Have worked at least 3 complete implementations successfully.
5+ years’ Experience X++,
5+ years’ Experience Lead
Knowledge in any of Inventory Management / Sales / Purchases, Finance, Project Accounting, Travel & Expense Modules
Previous experience with implementing Dynamics 365(AX / F&O) or other versions of Dynamics AX.
Other ERP implementation experience would be an asset.
Desired technical requirements :
Application Integration Framework experience is a plus.
Microsoft Power Platform
Exposure to Azure.
Experience with Power BI
Worked with Logic apps, Microsoft Flows
Knowledge and experience with other ERPs (SAP, ORACLE, JD Edwards, etc.)
Required to demonstrate credibility with the client.
Proven consulting experience
