Position Purpose & SummaryOur creative services team is seeking a copywriter to translate marketing and communications messages into appropriate copy for multiple channels, including advertising, social media, emails, websites, promotions, videos and more.
Develop and refine concepts that support marketing and communications goals. Execute creative work on time, with clarity, and to reflect our Cargill brand strategy and tone of voice.

The ideal candidate is creative with a multifaceted background crafting stories across digital, video, multimedia and print deliverables for marketing and communications.
The candidate is highly collaborative, organized, efficient, understands market and capable of partnering with stakeholders to solicit input, respond to, and integrate feedback;
manage and track schedules and production milestones; and map to overall product and content releases.Principal Accountabilities
40% - Produce written copy for creative work, including design and video projects (script writing).
30% - Develop outstanding concepts that show a thorough understanding of strategy.
15% - Collaborate with creative team members and business partners to plan creative project strategies, budgets and schedules.
10% - Offer partners and team members innovative advice and solutions from industry examples and experience.
5% - Carry out other duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, preferably with English, journalism, marketing or strategic communications focus
5 or more years of copy writing, advertising and video project experience
Online and / or electronic portfolio of writing samples
Hands-on experience creating exceptional brand experiences
Ability to work and collaborate with creative team members, including designers, producers and directors
Demonstrated ability to concept and design compelling solutions that align with overall creative strategy
Proven ability to listen, digest and resolve feedback with a creative solution and a positive attitude
Excellent time-management and communication skills
Able to be a big picture thinker and pay attention to the details
Capable of working on multiple concurrent projects, small and large, with various project leads
Bilingual English / SpanishPreferred Qualifications
Three or more years of writing for video projects (scripts, dialogue, taglines)
Understanding of and curiosity about current and emerging digital channels and platforms
Passion for all things creative and a strong desire to learn and share industry best practices
Open-mindedness, positive thinking and enthusiasm
Demonstrated, hands-on experience creating exceptional brand experiences
