CDS Operations Data Analyst
Full-time, home based in Costa Rica
The Data Analyst is the first point of contact for all support queries related to our client reporting tools. They will work on a wide range of different tasks on a daily basis, from troubleshooting data, reports and tool issues to providing training, support, access to the tools, ensure reporting is provided timely, report delivery integrity issues, production schedule setup, OIP (Operational Intelligence Platform) maintenance and supporting the automated manual data delivery process.
They will work with internal and external customers and coordinate with our internal technical teams. Client Data Solutions is a global team, so the Data Analysts will build close relationships with others from around the globe to support our day to day business.

Carry out data investigations and study the issue to deduce origin and potential corrections.
Troubleshooting data and tool issues / errors; analysing the return to make an informed deduction to be communicated to requesters.
Providing training to our internal and external clients
Keep current on all processes
Seek opportunity for continued education on various functions / skills utilized in position.
Utilize appropriate support documentation and training materials on CDS programs and procedures
Troubleshooting report queries by reviewing report calculations, parameters and underlying data, and explaining what the reporting fields are returning and the report’s purpose.
Setting up 3rd Party exports / imports, and ensuring that we have the necessary Data Release Authorisation in place
Responsible to understand tools we use and Know processes and best practices to provide training and guidance to users
Creating and maintaining internal / external user access to our supported tools; DecisionSource, FileMover, BCD API, etc
Provide assistance with system issues and maintenance. Consult on workarounds for system issues and work with internal departments to ensure larger issues are documented and in process of correction
Creating new department processes with accompanying documentation as directed and approved by supervisor or manager
Provide feedback for continuous process improvement
Maintain document library on customer procedures
Providing business support for country reporting and internal data processes
Producing reports on an adhoc basis and investigating creating scheduled tasks
Support adhoc reports related to 3rd party data provisioning and data processing
Ensure the quality of the end-product meets customer’s expectations
Validate the integrity of production schedule setup requests, data processing files and 3rd party extract requests with the end requestor prior to setup
Follow SOP’s to ensure correct deliverables
Meet Service Level Agreements (SLA)
Ensure timely delivery of all reports for customers and vendors, which includes the delivery of internal and external reports
Must have the ability to be flexible and to handle other tasks as assigned
Identify, resolve and communicate data report delivery and data processing data integrity issues
Produce reports on an adhoc basis for internal or external customers and create scheduled tasks

Experience Customer Service / Travel Industry experience OR bachelor’s degree / equivalent
Embrace diversity
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite is preferred
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is preferred
SQL and relational database knowledge is a plus, not required
