Projects are typically two to six months with medium complexity and more contained with a defined time frame. Programs are typically longer-term, multi-functional, multi-project with complex requirements and effort.
Manage activities of the cross-functional team, schedules, and ensure cross company communications to ensure recovery within the expected schedule and zero customer impact.
Work with engineering management to identify and
improve process and program efficiencies based on learnings. Work can also involve external parties such as suppliers, ODMs, JDMs, CMs, partners, resellers etc.
Manages and leads cross-functional team initiatives involving multiple engineering resources to drive issue escalation root cause analysis, resolution, corrective and preventative actions.
Manages and leads cross functional teams to place a product on hold and generate a purge to remove defective material from inventory, production floor, finish goods, and field.
Develops get well plan and associated schedules, drives plan execution, tracks action items and deliverables. Minimizing customer impact, while preserving company revenue.
Provides clear and concise communication to stakeholders and management teams on progress.Works with cross-functional team on cost recovery.
Collaborates with internal / external functional teams to develop and implement proactive improvement changes to product, process, or programs.
Coordinates activities with internal and external partners; to tracks progress against established escalation and project plans, working with owners to update schedule and / or resource allocation to meet established timeline.
Tracks and publishes weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicator reports. Leads and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.
Education and Experience Required :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.PMP / PMI certification preferred.
Typically 4-6 years experience.
Knowledge and Skills :
Using project planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.Sound PM experience in IT industry - Server product experience preferredPMP / PMI certification and Quality Green belt or Black belt certification preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated experience coordinating and directing matrixed teams and resources.Ability to create and manage program schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language since English presentation and meetings required for this role.
Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, progress updates, and results from the individual contributor level to the senior management levels. We offer :
