The Customer Support Engineer represents Edwards as the first point of contact for our customers. The position requires both technical skill and the ability to work directly with customer stakeholders including technicians, engineers and managers.

The Customer Support Engineer is responsible for maintaining equipment Uptime through the use of Best-Known Methods, supporting Scheduled and Unscheduled Maintenance activities and always keeping customer Cryogenic equipment operating in an optimized condition.

The Customer Support Engineer serves the critical role of providing customer site-based support. The primary responsibilities of the Customer Support Engineer are :

  • Planned maintenance activity
  • Unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, root cause determination and repairs
  • Customer consignment inventory management
  • Monitoring and optimization of cryogenic system performance
  • 1st point of contact with Edwards customers for technical and logistics issue’s
  • Works closely with Edwards Sales and Customer Care stakeholders to ensure high customer satisfaction
  • The Customer Support Engineer works mainly onsite at Customer facilities and will interact with customer representives including technicians, engineers and managers
  • Participate in both CSS Team and EdwardsTask Force initiatives as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
