The position provides engineering support for Samtec production E-Test processes, problem solving and design modifications while interfacing with global quality and engineering groups.
Primary function will be related to create E-test programs, data entry on different support systems and PICS updates.
Additional support or consultation can be requested and review case by case.
Create E-test programs using Test Designer software for FTB and standard products.
Create tooling chart documents to control E-Test tools (PCBs, fixtures & programs).
Enter and update PICS system for E-Test processes.
Provide engineering assistance in the debug of incoming tooling.
Attend and manage AutoTech requests.
Work with interdisciplinary teams in short and long-term actions for production problems.
Any other task / activity related to job functions.
Excellent interpretation of engineering prints and drawings.
Knowledge in CAD softwares (AutoCAD / SolidWorks / OrCAD) is a plus.
Electronic, Electrical or Electromechanical (or related area of study) engineering active student.
Strong communication skills.
Must be at least in 2nd year of the academic plan.
Intermediate English communication level (read, write & conversational)
Ability to integrate, lead and work in high performance teams.

Ability to manage multiple assignments and provide solutions on a timely manner.
A Experience in manufacturing environment. Complex assemblies (HDR) is a plus
