Business Intelligence Business analysis has emerged as a core business practice in the 21st century. As the vital link between a firm’s operational capabilities and its business objectives, skilled business analysts contribute to organizational efficiency and effectiveness in every industry.

BI Business analysts wears many hats, working on business analytics and project management, and coming up with innovative ideas and assist in driving organizational and operational performance of the business or functional work streams.

Position Description :

The Senior Business Analyst will provide business and analytical support to the Change Management / PMO leader. You will be focusing on the development, delivery and maintenance of innovative BI tools and analytics capabilities that will support informed decision making.

You will develop creative new ways of adding value to existing processes that directly impact the partner functions.

Responsibilites :

  • Support Project Nike and liaise between GBS, Data Lake and Corporate Tableau teams.
  • Bridges the business requirements of defining, analyzing, and specifying changes to how Experian data systems create and maintain information.
  • Business Planning & Analysis : To include forecasting, business planning and performance analysis & KPIs reporting.
  • Designing reports that answer business questions and make the most of our visualization tools capabilities.
  • Lead by example by designing powerful user-focused content in line with our design standards.
  • Own the development cycle of assigned projects.
  • Partner and coordinate with Support Partners (Finance, HR, Talent Acquisition, Real Estate, IT, Communications), Lean Six Sigma and BU Functional Managers and improve on Progress and Performance Reporting with a view of moving into a comprehensive Performance Dashboard KPI reporting framework.
  • Operational Initiatives : Work closely with stakeholders to identify and recommend opportunities for operational efficiencies, effectiveness and cost optimizations.
  • Required key skills (functional / technical) :

  • Strong interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to communicate complex financial / operational information to various levels of the organization.
  • Must be skilful at problem solving, self-motivated and able to prioritize work load.
  • The ability to conduct cost / benefit analysis and business case development skills set.
  • Strong Analytics skills and Business Modelling techniques and methods.
  • Very detail oriented with passion for data quality.
  • Ability to think and plan in a proactive and innovative manner.
  • Keen interest in reporting automation.
  • Motivated self-starter, able to work with minimal guidance when necessary.
  • Required qualifications / experience

  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing effective reports with Tableau Desktop and Prep. Power BI is a plus.
  • Exceptional knowledge of data visualization best practice and trends.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present to senior stakeholders.
  • Mindset of innovation and process improvement, ability to drive changes.
  • Goal oriented - strong commitment to deliver results
  • Experience in working within challenging, dynamic, matrix-based management structures
  • Knowledge of trends and emerging possibilities in MI / BI, data and automation
