Are you excited about Change?We have a fantastic opportunity to join with us! Mondelez International is looking for : Payroll Generalist This position is for sourcing purposes and has a general job description.

The position might be subject to changes due to business needs. The Payroll Generalist is accountable for the effective and efficient delivery of payroll, maintain an up to date knowledge of North America payroll processes and regulation and is accountable for the effective and efficient management of both overpayments and repayments by ensuring timely processing, compliance, standard payroll processes for the complex North America (US & Canada) payroll for approximately 22,000 employees with various, and separate union agreements. Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of North America payroll processes and regulations to ensure accuracy & compliance, and stay abreast of changes required.
  • Contributes to an environment that is passionate about simplification, and seeks ways to make the process and service simpler and more cost effective for the business.
  • Ensures payroll is run in line with internal and external controls requirements.
  • Foster strong relationship with payroll colleagues to ensure agreed processes and services are delivered in line with agreed service levels, customer service and key performance indicators.
  • Ensures timely and accurate processing of all weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payrolls. Performs all in-bound payroll related functions, provides appropriate support to all required variance, balancing and reconciliations for compliance and resolution to all gross to net calculation issues.
  • Ensure all off-cycle, ACH / Live Check / Stop payment and other banking issues, are handled timely and accurate according to process documentation.

  • Responsible for all payroll data maintenance and data entry including validation of all daily master data and payroll maintenance import files or forms, International / Expat payroll maintenance details, Daily and Annual Stock administration and US & CA Year-
  • end / Begin Project communications.

  • Responsible for management and reconciliation of Payroll Reports including Union payments, ROEs, Wage Statements, Ad Hoc Reports and Multiple Worksite Reporting.
  • Performs the end to end process of handling Overpayments as well as Repayment.
  • Responsible for daily tax payment ensuring all payments are appropriately balanced : tax filings and tracers are processed, researched, and actioned accurately while maintaining appropriate tracking logs, employer tax rates are maintained and other related processes such as daily and annual stock tax balancing and payment confirmations specifically the calculation of tax, compliance, security and audits.
  • Academic Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business / Finance
  • Working Knowledge

  • Fundamental Payroll Concepts (FPC) or its equivalent (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 year payroll experience as part of the 4years related work experience
  • Experience with outsourced payroll delivery including vendor management
  • Experience with US & Canada payroll
  • Union payroll experience (Nice to have)
  • Experience in managing corporate audits (Nice to have)
  • Abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, SAP & payroll applications (UltiPro System)
