Job summary

The Devices Brand Studio, an internal agency within the Devices group at Amazon, is seeking a talented, customer-obsessed production designer to help us create campaigns for Echo, Alexa, Smart Home, Fire TV, Tablets, Kindle, and other devices and services.

In this role, you will be creating a variety of digital and print assets used to engage and attract customers.

Your primary focus will be to design visually compelling and effective creative for internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with product and marketing teams as well as the larger creative team to bring ideas to life to help drive new business.

Prior experience with templatized graphics and following brand guidelines is required.

You also must have experience designing large-scale digital campaigns and be able to work in an iterative process and professionally accept art direction and feedback.

In addition to strong design skills, a candidate must have strong organizational skills, web expertise, typographic skills, and acute attention to detail.

The ideal candidate must be able to blend strong production design skills with technological excellence to create seamless workflows throughout the design process.

They have experience working in fast-paced and detailed environment to deliver marketing and merchandising materials around globally.

They will be expected to dive deep into current and future team needs to help the team find the best use of resources for any given project.

They must be able to work iteratively and professionally accept art direction and feedback.

Key job responsibilities

  • Create merchandising and marketing campaigns that elevate Amazon’s device brand across multiple online and offline channels
  • Work with internal Amazon clients to define standards for different work requests.
  • Grow team knowledge of production best practices and stay abreast of the latest in technological solutions that enable better creative workflows.
  • Understand design principles that help drive successful design.
  • Communicate design rationale in a clear, respectful and open, fluent manner across all stakeholders.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects and overlapping deadlines.
  • Build trust, respect, and credibility with stakeholders and team members.
