The Opportunity :

We are looking for a Finance Manager, Verticals FP&A to join our Verticals FP&A team supporting the North America Marketplaces team.

Based in San Jose, CA, you will partner closely with the GMs in our Luxury / High ASP Focus Category. The key categories of Sneakers, Watches, Handbags (and more to come!) have unique customer problems to solve and this role will support the GMs for each category to drive CSAT, GMV and category profitability.

Key responsibilities :

Lead P&L architecture and partner with GMs for the categories that ladder up to the Luxury / High ASP Focus Category, to provide insight from GMV down to operating margin, to drive profitability of categories

Build close partnership with the business teams to identify and assist in the development of analytical frameworks to evaluate monetization and cost optimization opportunities

Support all financial planning, forecasting and reporting processes for the Luxury / High ASP Focus Category

Govern and facilitate compliance and high-quality execution with overall corporate finance timelines and processes

Work closely with Controllership to monitor compliance with GAAP, ensure that the relevant financial control processes are used and appropriate audit trail maintained at all times

Work with global cross-functional teams and analysts on ad-hoc business projects

Demonstrate deep functional based analysis and recommendations

Preferred Qualifications :

7+ years experience with increasing responsibility in finance leadership roles with a bias towards quantitative analysis and Financial Planning & Analysis

Strong MS Excel skills candidate should be comfortable with financial modeling and working with large amounts of data; SAP experience a plus

Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on teamwork, initiative, and integrity

Proven track record of working effectively with senior, mid-level and junior colleagues to drive results across a broad organization and diverse set of businesses

Highly analytical, strategic, and detail-oriented, with a commitment to excellence and a passion for understanding the business

Superior communication skills - verbal, written & presentation skills with ability to transition seamlessly from complex analyses to simple / precise business implications

Intellectual curiosity, passion for problem-solving, and comfort with ambiguity

Experience with database query tools utilizing SQL and a basic understanding of data warehouse architecture a plus

Bachelors degree required, MS / MBA a plus
