Our Instrumentation and controls (IANDC) Field Engineer owns and operates facilities control systems through programing logic controllers (PLC) from where it interfaces with field instrumentation to measure temperature, humidity, pressure, flow, level and control valves among others.

  • All this field sensors information is logging historical data into the SCADA environment system (BMS). This role also includes to operate and maintain a power monitoring system;
  • all this data is analyzed and used to take critical operational decision and identify facilities improvement.

    You will support projects, factory task forces, cross-site and cross-discipline teams, and incident resolutions. Our engineers act as Intel's System Owners for sustaining and improving existing systems.

    Instrumentation and controls (IANDC) Field Engineer will be accountable for safety, system operations, maintenance procedures, reliability, and cost.

    Also, will review and approve automatization control system designs following standard specifications, submittals, studies, and drawings.

    They deliver operational efficiency, maintenance, testing and commissioning solutions for the electrical power system focusing on energy conservation, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability.


  • Own the health of the Building monitoring system including all preventive, corrective maintenance, and projects they own.
  • Instrumentation calibration program Owner.
  • Developing system concepts and conducting design reviews for construction projects or system enhancements.
  • Performing system acceptance for newly installed equipment.
  • Solve technical issues that arise in the system control (PLC, HMI-Servers, SQL, etc.)
  • Job plan development for preventative maintenance or corrective maintenance.
  • Keep up-to-date critical documentation to operate and maintain the system running in a reliable manner.
  • Additional duties may include :

  • Support to maintain the facilities document control system by ensuring as-built drawings, OEM manuals, and PLC program code back up.
  • Work closely with Project Engineers, contractors, and engineers on project design and close out documentation
  • Coordinate and oversee work of external consultant's support.
  • Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications :

  • Candidate must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic, Electrical, Electromechanical or Instrument and Control Engineering or related.
  • Upper Intermediate English Level
  • 1+ years of experience in all the followings :
  • Experience utilizing troubleshooting techniques and interpreting P and IDs, construction drawings and special tools (multimeters, process meter, Hart configurator / calibrator).
  • Have good acknowledge in calibration process and procedures.
  • Have a strong acknowledge in control network architecture and troubleshooting.
  • Have excellent computer skills, strong data analysis and statistical process analysis capabilities
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Master's degree in Electronic, Electrical, Electromechanical or Instrument and Control Engineering.
  • Preferred degrees include Electronic, Electrical, Electromechanical or Instrument and Control Engineering.
  • Acknowledge in Power Monitoring expert (PME) software is preferred.
  • Experience utilizing Allen Bradley PLC programming software and HMI-Cimplicity software is preferred.
  • Experience with ABB and Allen Bradley Variable frequency drives programming is preferred.
