The Logistics team will collaborate with Supply Chain colleagues at Discrete and Industrial (ASCO, Numatics, Tescom, TopWorx, Aventics and Branson) plants throughout North America, carriers, brokers, and suppliers worldwide to facilitate on-time customs clearance and delivery of inbound shipments and support the Logistics team with a variety of critical tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor inbound shipments and work with carriers to ensure on-time delivery.
Root cause analysis for late shipments.
Support track-and-trace escalations from D&I plants.
Approve or reject freight invoices as appropriate per service contract.
Assist with data cleanup for monthly freight invoice reporting.
Emerson Supply Chain Optimization shipment bookings : train suppliers to use SCO portal
Provide missing documents as needed

The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated, resourceful and creative, have excellent communication skills, be able to learn quickly, manage multiple concurrent assignments, and handle the challenges of a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Qualifications include :
Technical degree (required).
2 years’ experience in logistics, trade compliance, supply chain, or analytical position
Fluent English (required)
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to work as a member of a cross functional team
Ability to work independently and without day-to-day supervision
Required functional knowledge of Microsoft Office
