Description

  • Utilizes general HR Operations knowledge to provide day to day oversight for HR services. Responsible for supervising a team to develop, implement and execute HR Operations strategies, policies and processes;
  • HR Operations governance and compliance; HR Operations data research, analysis and tools; and people / budget management.

    Responsible to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and consult with business / functional partners on projects.

    This role will also be responsible for coordinating the migration of services to CBS GHRS San Jose. It will be responsible for interacting with key stakeholders in the migration process to ensure that activities are completed in a fashion that enables effective delivery of the migrated service post migration.

    This position, along with the CBS GHRS Lead, will partner with GHRS Market leadership in the continued identification of migration opportunities to CBS.

    20% DEVELOP, IMPLEMENT & EXECUTE HR OPERATIONS STRATEGIES, POLICIES, PROGRAMS & PROCESSES

  • Draws upon full HR Operations knowledge to translate business needs into HR Operations solutions which are delivered to a team.
  • Provides day-to-day oversight in the adoption / implementation, execution and maintenance HR Operations strategies, policies, programs and processes.
  • Works directly with HR / business managers and supervisors regarding the effective and efficient delivery of HR Operations.
  • Includes establishing standards to meet the needs of the clients served.

  • Provides day-to-day oversight for short-term HR Operations projects / initiatives
  • Champions a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement, which includes identifying and implementing opportunities that increase efficiency, decrease cost, reduce waste and increase quality.
  • Utilizes full HR Operations knowledge to consider internal / external leading HR Operations practices and trends and apply as appropriate.
  • 20% PEOPLE, BUDGET & RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

  • Manages and provides coaching to HR Operations supervisors and individual contributors, which includes coaching Cargill’s core values.
  • Manages the selection of HR Operations team members.
  • Provides input into the planning of future workforce needs for HR Operations.
  • Accountable for performance management, talent development, succession planning and engagement for a small subset of the organization.
  • Partners with other HR Operations supervisors regionally / locally to develop, manage, and engage talent. 20% RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
  • Utilizes full HR Operations knowledge to provide consult / advise to HR / business managers and supervisors on HR Operations issues / activities.
  • Reviews and approves and / or independently develops regional / local HR Operations related communications regarding strategies, policies, programs, and processes for distribution to employees, retirees, business leadership, HR Managers, etc.
  • Provides day-to-day oversight on the design and delivery of HR Operations training / education sessions for employees, HR professionals, and / or supervisors / managers in the business.
  • Provides day-to-day oversight for activities related to the selection of vendors and the management of external vendor relationships.
  • 20% HR OPERATIONS GOVERNANCE AND COMPLIANCE

  • Provides day-to-day oversight for the design and execution of the HR Operations governance framework regionally and locally.
  • Provides consult to HR and business managers / supervisors regarding variances / exceptions to HR Operations policies and programs and champions defined governance process for approvals.
  • Supervises the consistent application of HR Operations philosophy and standards, as well as compliance with regulatory requirements for a small scope of activities, working with legal counsel as appropriate.
  • Establishes accountability measures and processes that enforce and ensure compliance.10% HR OPERATIONS DATA RESEARCH, ANALYSIS & TOOLS
  • Draws upon full knowledge of HR Operations principles, theories and concepts to provide day-to-day oversight on HR Operations related research and analysis which includes but is not limited to : cost modeling, business impact assessment, market data, benchmarking, market trending, emerging market assessment, etc.
  • Responsible for the preparation of HR Operations reports / materials / updates developed for use by HR and business managers and supervisors
  • Through a small-size team of HR Operations employees, ensures the appropriate design, implementation and maintenance of HR Operations tools and resources. 10% MIGRATIONS
  • Develop our migration roadmap and improve the execution / discipline of our migration process; increase the depth of our processes delivered through solutioning & consulting and improve our branding and storytelling to attract new services (identify and share our best practices across centres)
  • Understand the end to end process flow across HR function, identify critical process interaction points, and key point of contact across the end to end service
  • Assess systems and solutions readiness
  • Requerid Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience with a large team (preferably in a shared service center environment).
  • 5+ years of professional level experience in Human Resources
  • HR experience in Payroll
  • Knowledge of HR industry and labor market trends
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong business partnering and influencing skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive teams for high performance

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Pre and Post payroll Supervisory experience
  • Written and verbal fluency in French or Portuguese
  • Knowledge of SAP and Remedy Force
  • Experience managing projects
  • Lean / Agile / Six sigma certification
  • English Level at C1+
