Data Center and Cloud Engineer will be responsible to deal with complex problems, proactively ensure operational health of the Multi Cloud IT infrastructure as well as advise on the future development of the technological landscape, considering the TMF’s strategy and newly available technologies.
The indented purpose of the Engineering team is to provide engineering and system integration support to help the Operations team to deal with complex concerns, proactively ensure operational health of the IT infrastructure as well as advise on the future development of the technological landscape, considering the TMF’s strategy and newly available technologies.
Engineering support engineer should also take ownership of Incidents where Operations team Support is not able to work out any temporary workaround due to the l of knowledge.
Engineering Support Engineer is also dealing with executing standard changes in a controlled manner and ensuring all the engineering related work in new projects and implementations including proof of concept etc.
Supporting the architect teams to ensure the deliverables and tested and implemented in production environments.
This role will be part of a team and work on shifts rotation to ensure support coverage in different time zones.
Key Responsibilities :
Multi Cloud infrastructure management by handling major incidents and problem management support, including diagnosis and restoration activities, including liaison with third-party support contractors and / or manufacturers as needed to escalate these incidents.
Pull together all the critical IT Systems (on premises, Cloud and Edge) within the IT Infrastructure so that they can be monitored and managed from a centralized location with minimal effort.
Perform standard routines, queries or reports, setting up scheduled jobs.
Ensure that there are solid disaster recovery plans, backup and restore strategies for each IT service in place, and ensure that these are properly tested.
Ensure that there is documentation for every IT service in place and ensure that it is up-to-date.
Responsible for Cloud Security Group Support, S3 Storage Support, EC2 Support, automation and Account Management
Support and maintenance of the operating systems and related utility software, including patch management.
Configuration and fine-tuning of IT Systems.
Collaborate within the team to automate repeatable processes and utilize the monitoring capabilities to proactively identify and resolve using as much of the automation possible.
Build, install and configure server systems in a physical and virtual environment.
Monitor and optimize system performance, taking both proactive and reactive measures to correct and prevent issues.
Create and maintain documentation of enterprise infrastructure topology and system configurations. Also create run books for the operations teams.
Improve the efficiency and reducing the operating time of existing systems by making necessary enhancements.

Provide support to users and staff to resolve Server related issues.
Perform Servers installations, testing, and overall maintenance & administration.
Implement and administer Server roles and domain analysis.
Responsible for providing automated support tools and technical suggestion as necessary and utilize CI / CD tools and infrastructure as a code.
Able and willing to learn new as well as existing computer technologies.
Key Requirements :
Total of 8+ years of experience with a minimum of 4+ years in AWS Cloud Technologies / IaaS / PaaS.
4+ Years of experience with AWS Platform with System Design, Operations, and implementation for large global enterprises, managing Global operations with geographically spread out teams.
Hands-on experience in AWS offerings for Compute, Storage, Databases, Backup & archival, Networking, Analytics and developer tools.
5+ years of hands on expertise in RHEL / Windows platform and products, encryption technologies, load balancers, Web application Firewalls, experience in Atlassian product suite, Containers, Kubernetes.
Certifications on AWS and Azure.
Knowledge and experience in primarily AWS environment.
Hands-on experience with EC2, AWS batch, ECS, EKS, ECR, ELB, EBS, VPC, S3, IAM, SQS, RDS, Lambda, AWS Aurora, loud watch, Security group, NACL ,Storage Gateway, Cloud Formation, elastic beanstalk, Elasticsearch and auto-scaling.
Demonstrable experience with developer tools like code deploy, code build, code pipeline, design the overall virtual private cloud VPC environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, high availability zones etc.
Good understanding in Functional solution (Lambda).
Automate DevOps with deployment tools - Puppet, Chef and Ansible.
Experience in integrated systems between Public Cloud Providers Azure and AWS.
Must have technical / professional qualifications, at least one of the following o AWS Architect o AWS SysOps engineer o AWS networking specialist.
O Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
Solid cloud infrastructure design and development in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Containerization with Kubernetes or Docker.
Cloud-native architectures, including public cloud PaaS / IaaS, microservices, APIs.
Familiar with Agile / Scrum methodologies and CI / CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins).
Strong Linux / RHEL and Windows administration skills.
Good understanding of Enterprise Networks, Security and Identity Access Management.
Able to manage and create IAM users and groups and use permissions to allow and deny their access to AWS resources.
Must have in-depth understanding of compute, storage, network components including backup, monitoring and DR environment requirements.
Experience and understanding of large-scale application's portfolio in enterprise-wide environment (including migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud) required.
Migration Cloud concepts and Virtualization Knowledge on Migration tools and Migration methodologies.
Knowledge of DevOps approaches and working practices.
Certification on Azure and working experience is an added advantage.
