Job Description Summary :
The Retoucher is responsible for creation of high-resolution finished and low-resolution comp digital artwork for HPS’ Imaging Department.
This includes processing of Camera RAW files, clean up and color correction of digital photographic images, photocomposition, and production of final digital files.

Processing of Camera Raw files
Clean ups and color corrects digital images
Completes composition of all finished high-resolution artwork for production usage
Silhouettes images, creating complex masks and providing clipping paths
Collaborates with Art Directors, Production Managers, and HPS Project Managers to provide accurate assessments of projects.
Understands the full scope of a project and provides insight as to the best approach from a technical as well as creative perspective
Proofs all images until approved by client
Sets-up all final production images to vendor spec and create flattened high resolution versions of images in both RGB and CMYK color modes
Complies with HPS procedures and practices regarding workflow, file organization, and management
Accurately completes Pulse (project management system) forms for all assigned projects
Manages time efficiently, meets deadlines, pays attention to detail
Projects a professional / calm attitude despite high-pressure situations
Maintains accurate time sheets
Background / experience and skills
5 years’ experience retouching in an advertising agency digital studio / production environment, or equivalent experience in a pre-press shop
Good problem-solving and communication skills (oral and written)
Must be able to multitask
Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Acrobat, and InDesign
Proficient on MAC platform
3-D rendering software such as Cinema 4D a plus
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint a plus
Experience with Commercial Photography a plus
English Skills Advanced (B2 minimum)
