MSD’s Business Service Center (BSC), located across three regions (Americas, Europe, and Asia), are responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of standardized, global financial processes.
The BSC Americas in San Jose, Costa Rica will be responsible for the execution and delivery of a broad range of financial services and processes across MSD business divisions and markets for the Americas region.
The responsibilities of the Credit Monitoring Analyst include Execute Order release activities. Credit and collections review.
Involves a lot of internal interaction with collection teams. High sense of urgency, reports generation, accuracy and detail focus.
Ensure customer orders are released timely and accurately. Follow up focus and previous collection experience is a plus.
SLAs and process compliance. Analysis, reconciliation, proactivity.
Main Responsibilities :
Order release assurance, high interaction with other teams, high sense of urgency.
Work towards orders queue on hold, quick resolution, approvers follow up.
Root cause fix for consistent customers under block orders. Troubleshot issues with internal partners and process owners.
Support the credit analysts as well as collection teams, partner with them in order to minimize release timing and eliminate unnecessary block orders.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities, and support the execution of OtC processes for America s markets,ensuring compliance with all policies, Internal, External Control requirements. SOX based.
Constant communication and build strong working relationships with internal and external customers / clients.
Perform month end controls and / or reports for individual and team activities as needed.
Performs other duties & projects as assigned.
Support Service Center activities, be a team player and a strong liaison with third parties
Main Requirments :
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance (Or career in progress)
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Finance / OTC (Collections, credit)
Intermediate to Advanced PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Problem solving and analytical skills with a proactive management style to implement
Experience in a finance or accounting department of a multinational company
Business Level fluency (oral and written) in Spanish and English languages
Customer Service Skills
Team player with a focus on collaboration
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills required
Preferred requirements : SAP knowledge
Pharmaceutical Industry experience
Experience in Share service centers, startups or migrations
