DESCRIPTION

The Amazon Vision Operations Center (AVOC) currently handles remote resolution of technologies that employ machine learning.

AVOC is looking for a Training manager to work with a new team for New Business Development and Prototype new technologies in San Jose, Costa Rica.

The Training Manager will coordinate, execute and implement various Learning and Development programs used to train new hires and existing associates including leadership.

They will become an expert in processes, liaise with other site training managers, Operations Managers, Team Managers and global leaders to ensure training deliverables meet accuracy and throughput standards.

The Training Manager must have a passion for, relationship-building, as well as data efficiency and accuracy. Specifically, the Training Manager will :

  • Manage, coach, assess and develop the site trainers and coordinate their work
  • Plan Training Deliveries & manage Instructor’s schedules
  • Become proficient in business processes
  • Provide reports and statistics on Specialty- Site- and Function-specific training performance against goals
  • Ideate and lead the creation of E-learning database.
  • Partner with Leadership in interim and final evaluation of learner outcomes and performance to determine next steps
  • Determine training requirements and build detailed training proposals and plans to help accelerate organizational performance
  • Continually evaluate training solutions for quality, business impact, and scalability
  • Maintain a strong relationship with all stakeholders to ensure flawless execution of training plans across sites
  • Deliver training as needed to support the initiatives
  • Build & maintain a pipeline of training opportunities and provide regular forecasts
  • Plan, communicate, manage, and measure milestones, risks, and process improvement opportunities of day-to-day operations, for the training team
  • Define standard operation processes (SOP), deploy them at the site-level and pro-actively defining roadblocks, tracking progress, surfacing risks & executing mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate with domain experts for quality assessments, quizzes, and feedback
  • This is not a virtual position. Due to the current situation caused by COVID-19, if selected for this role, a laptop will be provided for you to work from home.

    However, once our company provides clearance, you will be required to continue working from our SJO16 building, located in the America Free Zone (AFZ), Cariari, Heredia.
