Actively monitor and identify continuous operationalimprovement opportunities in several Oracle-related environments. This includes responding to dashboardwarnings, system / application alerts, and messaging traffic via variousutilities & applications (including Automic / UC4 & Oracle R12 EBS).
Support production environments with global monitoring,problem detection, and deterrence options
Utilize Automic (UC4) Application to monitor and respond toevents with scheduled UC4 processes
Proactively drive down error rates by tracking, validating,& reviewing reports of metrics, activities, anomalies, and operationalprocesses.
Make recommendations and work closely with SystemAutomation, Archive Operations, & Automic (UC4) teams for improving,reconfiguring, or enhancing monitoring systems, alerts, operation procedures,knowledge base, etc.
Quickly identify performance issues or anomalies within alarge Oracle Applications environment
Provide continuous feedback to team leads for frequentanomalies & / or jobs having issues
Apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solvingskills to help identify, communicate, and seek immediate resolution forrepeated production issues
Interacts with customers & process owners to ensure theyreceive an exceptional level of service
Continually remain aware of and alert on both planned &unplanned maintenance activities
Able and willing to work with and through others in a globalteam & collaborative environment
Participate in weekend and holiday systemmonitoring activities, as required Requirements
Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills(both oral and written)
Minimum 3 months of experience in NOC, Customer Service,Help / Service Desk, & / or IT Operations
Minimum 3 months of experience in Oracle Applications EBS(technical or functional)
Minimum 3 months of experience with SQL (PL / SQL a plus)
Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)in Oracle technologies is a plus
Experience with Automic (UC4), Oracle Concurrent Manager, orany Enterprise Scheduler is a plus
Knowledge of Oracle 10g or 11g architecture is a plus
BS with a technical background (MIS, Computer Science, Engineering)
Must be able to work 10am-7pm local time Tuesday-Saturday(Sundays & Mondays off)
Eventually, will rotate with 2 other IT Analysts to workrotating a) Monday-Friday, b) Tuesday-Saturday, and c) Sunday-Thursday days
