Assist users to understand thecapabilities and requirements of the application. Provide knowledgeof the application in support of projects, enhancements, andintegrations.
This role focuses on the Procurement and Payables modules.
MajorJob Functions :
Analyze, design,develop, code, and implement programs for the Oracle E-Business Suite.
Define specificationsand develop programs, modify existing programs, prepare test data, and preparefunctional specifications.
Identify and resolveapplication, database software, and programming problems.
Support integratedapplications with an understanding of system integration, test planning,scripting, and troubleshooting.
Assess the health andperformance of software applications and databases.
Establish, participate,and maintain relationships with business units, customers, and IT subjectmatter experts in order to remain apprised of direction, project status,architectural and technology issues, risks, and function / integration issues.
Identify potentialprocess improvement areas and suggest options and recommend approaches.
Day to day interactionwill take place with customers, Service Management and Release Management, ITcolleagues.
Maintain effective workingrelationships with other GCS and NA users.
Maintain effectiveworking relationships with other regions’ peers / teams.
Liaison with thirdparty suppliers such as Oracle and Vertex.

Bachelor’s degree,preferably Computer Science or Finance-related.

8+ years of progressiveIT professional experience, 5+ years of experience doing Oracledevelopment / analysis
3+ years of experienceproviding customer support in a technical environment

ITIL qualification / exposure
Experience of 3 full cycle implementations with Oracle, preferably in a global environment
Prior experience with integrated applications such as ERP, Data Warehouse
Experience working for a global company, effectively dealing with multiple countries and cultures
Experience with OBIEE
