The IT Process Governance Analyst position provides a unique opportunity to grow your career by working across various IT tracks, building your Business analysis skills, Technical expertise and provides customer facing opportunities.

As an Individual contributor role in IT Process, Change and Release Automation team, you will focus on maturity and simplification of ITCM processes within IT team.

This customer experience is critical for anyone with a passion for continuous improvement and looking to broaden their business acumen.

Success in the Role : What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

Within your first 6 months

You will be expected to understand end to end ITIL processes and work across the various ITIL processes.

Build subject matter expertise.

Handle Stakeholders effectively and build network.

Ensure all assigned tasks are completed and work with complete dedication.

After 6 months+

Work independently and manage end to end tasks assigned.

You will be regularly evaluated on the quality of the governance activities performed by you.

You will be responsible to come up with process improvement initiatives.

As a member of the Software Governance and Change Management team you will be expected to work with stakeholders identify requirements, address them and drive customer and stakeholder satisfaction.

What are the requirements?

Student currently enrolled in college

Advanced English

Be able to commit, full time to the 12-week program, beginning in April 2022.

What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

Your regular activities may be modified to suit your professional strengths, but you can expect a variety of the following assignments :

Review all new Software Requests that is received and appropriately route them to the appropriate architect for further review and analysis.

Ensure that each software request is followed until a final decision is made on whether to onboard or decline the request.

Attend all software governance boards and ensure any action captured is appropriately resolved

As part of the Software Governance process, ensure each piece of software is accounted for in the Application Portfolio Management tool

Create regular software status reports that may flow to senior management

Create regular application portfolio reports that may flow to senior management

Review all RFCs, progressing and Lead Change Advisory Board (CAB) and ensure all changes are effectively reviewed and actioned accordingly.

Convene urgent CAB or ECAB meetings for all urgent RFCs.

Analyse change records to determine any trends. Identify potential risks and anticipated points of resistance, provides feedback and seek technical inputs before approving the changes.

Create regular reports on data generated by the Change Management System and creation of graphs and reports on same. Some of these reports will flow to senior management level so must be of sufficient quality for this audience.

Attend external Compliance audits SOX and ISO27001 and manage Change control ownership for compliance.

Administration of Jira Service Desk and Confluence.

Use project Management skills to run the entire Process Governance, Change & Release automation roadmap.

Lead and coordinate CI / CD releases during weekdays and on weekends. Execution of Release pipelines

Performing Manual Deployment task based on instructions and coordinating them with other admin support

Lead and run deployment meetings by coordinating tasks between cross-functional teams such as admins, developers and management.

The manager for this position is Preethi Narendra, who has 20 years’ experience in ITES and IT Service Management portfolio.

Preethi believes hardwork, dedication, honesty and consistency is key to success and that collaboration and creating psychological safety are the key to building a strong team.

She manages three Change Analysts who are in full time capacity and four Alternate workforce.

This position is local to the CR office.
