The purpose of this exciting role is to lead the Air Logistics department with 200 co-workers. The main objectives are to align with the Air 2.
0 blueprint and implement the strategy accordingly. The position requires excellent stakeholder management skills and a good understanding of Air Logistics' operation.
Manage the P&L in line with the transfer price guidelines
Lead overall initiatives to drive process standardization efforts in close cooperation with the GPO and regions
Identify opportunities to improve quality, increase efficiencies and to reduce cost
Follow corporate and regional workflows and procedures for employee training, service implementation and delivery
Responsible for overall successful transition of processes and tasks following the build-up plans
Identify high performers and outliers and ensure robust succession plans are in place for the critical positions
Daily management of performance and monthly reporting of KPI’s
Timely, comprehensive and pro-active communication with employees, process owners and other key stake holders, peers and management at all levels.
Your Skills and Experiences
ideally experience in charge of 100+ employees
skilled in organizing teams and especially communication between teams
experience communicating within a complex matrix organization
preferably coming from within KN
general service quality mindset
continuous improvement mindset
experience with achieving process efficiencies including through automation
Air Logistics / Forwarding
Air Log knowhow is a plus
English is a must
Spanish is a plus but not a must
