Payroll Analyst 2
Description : This position is to work as the checker for payroll processes made by team’s Analysts. The selected person should ensure that processes are completed within the established service levels, according to the standard operating principles, in compliance with the laws and regulations of the related countries and the organization.
This person should be able to identify risks and business issues and research for a resolution. This position works as the right hand of the Payroll Supervisor, reporting any issue or risk in a timely manner and supporting daily tasks to ensure the continuity of the operation.
The selected candidate is expected to become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the department after short learning curve.
Operational experience in a shared services environment.
3 years of experience in end-to-end Payroll processes. Experience in Caribbean or North America Payroll is highly desirable.
Knowledge in Microsoft Excel (Proficient), Word, Outlook, Power Point, Banking Platforms. Knowledge of Oracle HRMS Payroll and Workday is a plus.
Fluent in written and spoken English, Spanish.
Critical thinking, detail oriented and analytical skills.
Bachelor degree preferably with a concentration in Business, Finance or Accounting.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Excellent prioritization skills and time management
Able to identify areas of improvement in established and new processes.
Flexibility to work additional hours outside of normal schedule when required.
Ability to research and solve complex day-to-day situations.
Good communication skills to ensure a flawless operation with makers and leads of the department.
