The Technical Services Center of Excellence is part of VMware’s WW Readiness, Assessment, Certification and Enablement (WW RACE) organization.
The TS CoE team consults and defines enablement strategies and plans for our global technical services teams.Responsibilities for this team include :
Understanding organizational vision and strategy, define enablement requirements that will support said strategy.
Attract high complexity enablement content and assets from the field that WWRACE can curate and make available for consumption across all roles
Maintaining accreditation and other solutions training programs.
Creating learning paths and other enablement programs designed to enhance individual skills on how to produce customer value / realize business outcomes via technical, professional and leadership skills
The goal of the TS CoE team is to simplify learning, making it easy for VMware technical teams and partners to obtain the knowledge and skills they need to be more successful in selling and implementing VMware solutions.
We have a need for an individual to lead these efforts within the Worldwide Customer Success community. The ideal candidate is an assertive self-starter with strong presence as well as experience managing senior leadership relationships.
The individual must communicate well andpossess the ability to conceptually understand complex, technical concepts at a high level.
In addition, a successful candidate will haveanalytical and project management skills with an ability to lead a team identify needs, develop effective solutions, and manage projects through completion.
A successful candidate will also be able to manage multiple timelines and contrasting / conflicting priorities to ensure timely results.
Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with multiple internal key stakeholders and peers is mandatory.
The successful candidate will work with our consulting delivery teamsto deliver and optimize core curriculum, participate in assessment measurements and coordinate instruction with hands-on activities in classroom and remote delivery models.
This role will work closely with our Enablement Business Manager teams, Technical SMEs, Instructional Designers, Technical Leads and other key stakeholders to prepare internal teams for enablement programs.
This role will be responsible for assisting the core teams for the implementation and ongoing delivery of global internal training programs.
