Job Description

Maintenance, Repair, and Operations Sourcing Specialist San Jose, Costa Rica In the role of Process Specialist in a Sourcing and Procurement service line, you will be required to follow all predefined procedures including MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) indirect category Sourcing / Procurement along with Catalog creation and maintenance.

The resource needs to have strong Data Management and Analytical skills, preferably using MS Excel spreadsheets.Responsibilities : Responsible for all activities related to sourcing and procurement of MRO Commodities and Services.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to - Running strategic sourcing processes (RFP / RFI), Agreement / SOW negotiation, strong commercial negotiations, agreement / SOW administration including utilizing sourcing systems, overseeing supplier performance, analyzing financial data, business planning, and administration, catalog / contract managementIndirect category expertise (particularly MRO category, Maintenance Services, and spare parts)Operations & supply chain managementProject Management Interacting with Senior stakeholders and influencing skillsCatalog management expertiseContract management expertiseSpend analytics to identify sourcing projectsStrong commercial / contract negotiations skillsCalculating Savings and getting signoffs from stakeholdersProjecting achievable savings, cataloging opportunities, project timelines and achieving the sameCapability to escalate and drive behavior for achieving targetsChange management skillset in order to influence positive outcomeRisk identification and proactively drive decisions / outcomesRuns cross functional sourcing team activities associated with selection processes (commercial and technical)- maximizing marketplace leverage, determining competitive alternatives and prioritizing business objectives.

Promotes team consensus.Manages supplier selection process and achieves cost savings on services projects as part of a highly structured procurement process.

Prepares issues, analyzes, negotiates and administers RFIs (Requests for Information), RFPs (Requests for Proposal), SOW (Statements of Work), CR (Change Requests), KPI management and contract terminations.

Ability to negotiate with Suppliers concerning complex contract topics.Experience working with legal teams of stakeholdersNegotiation - T&C’s and PricingPlanned and structured follow-up with all stakeholders (including suppliers)SLA / KPI ComplianceProcess ComplianceBringing value through innovative thinkingProcess Reengineering QualificationsBasicBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.

Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 3 years of relevant work experiencePreferredFluent in Spanish and English - Portuguese language skill is good to haveKnowledge of sourcing systems SAP / Ariba / Coupa good to haveMust be extremely proficient with all PC applications MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookStrong project management skillsSourcing techniques - Spend Analytics, sourcing strategy formulation, eSourcing, contracting, Catalogue managementExcellent analytical skills, ability to develop, analyze and summarize cost dataMust be very organized to assure all tasks are completed in a timely manner based on Client needs and the tasks are recorded, monitored and closed out in an efficient mannerMust be self-motivated and pro-activeMust be a team playerNote : Applicants for employment in Costa Rica.
