Position Purpose : Works closely with application teams and portfolio managers, this role guides the selection, solutioning and engineering of data integration solutions, ensuring that business needs are met, expected outcomes are obtained, and required service levels are achieved.
This position has oversight responsibilities for the continued evolution of integration technology architecture strategies and components at L.
L.Bean, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry trends. The role serves as a visible change agent for integration technology best practices through active consultation, education and guidance.
Responsibilities : Understand and apply existing and emerging integration technologies and patterns to support continually evolving business, operating and technology ecosystems Oversee the definition and engineering of data and messaging integration solutions to exchange information with L.
L.Bean’s major applications, including Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, ERP, Order Services and EDW. Both on-premises and cloud-based sources and targets are in scope Partner with IT Architects, Technical Leads, Analysts and Developers across the IT organization to understand business strategies and stakeholder requirements and effectively translate into integration solution deliverables Define / evergreen interface patterns, best practices and standards to drive the implementation of integration componentry Establish / refine processes for defining and creating integration solutioning artifacts (process / system / data flow diagrams, mapping documents, solution estimates, etc.
Mentor Enterprise Integration Team Technical Leads, Analysts and Developers Identify opportunities to create a lean, modern and robust integration footprint characterized by agility, scalability and resilience.
Perform research, evaluation and prototyping of leading / emerging integration technologies and organizational strategies.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR); California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) Familiarity with the following technologies : Cloud : Google (preferred), Azure, Hybrid Database : SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, MongoDB, Spanner, Big Query IPaaS / Citizen Integrator tools API Development / Management : Apigee Services : Service orchestration, Service Oriented Architecture, Microservices Architecture Transferrable Skills Highly collaborative and team oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to influence at multiple levels on the organization Comfortable navigating through uncertainty or ambiguity Strong negotiation skills Superior analytical and problem-solving skills Multi-tasking and work prioritization Ability to quickly acquire an understanding of business and technology models and ecosystems Maintain effective balance between innovation and pragmatism A visionary : ability to "think outside of the box" to shape ideas for future strategies Health and Safety Requirement : Every employee is responsible for contributing to a safe and healthy workplace.
