Job summary

The Strategic Account Services (SAS) organization is seeking a Site Leader to lead an organization of Account Managers and Managers responsible for the growth and development of some of the most influential sellers in the Amazon store.

The ideal candidate thrives in an ambiguous environment where they must develop, implement, and iterate on business strategies to deliver growth and positive experience for sellers.

This person has relentlessly high standards and operates as a business owner who understand key levers to achieve results through their team.

They have a passion for people management and are at their best when they’re building, developing and guiding high-performing teams.

In this role, you will be responsible for all business, operational, and budgetary objectives of your site (200+ person organization).

You’ll drive the creation and execution of strategies to achieve business goals, collaborate across the organization to demonstrate and disseminate a culture of customer obsession, ownership and bias for action while insisting on highest standards to optimize our services for sellers, and build a positive culture with employees within the site.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage a direct team of Managers and an extended team of Account Managers responsible for measuring performance, providing coaching, and holding managers accountable for their performance and the performance of their departments.
  • Drives creation of staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other Change / Six Sigma initiatives to enable their Functional Area and ultimately the site to meet and exceed goals.
  • Partner with business teams worldwide, and set / clarify requirements and expectations for each functional area.

  • Build a strong AM talent pipeline through market and university collaborations.
  • Work closely with support staff (HR Manager, Financial Manager, Facilities Manager, Operations Managers, IT Manager) to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives in his / her area, as well as providing needed support and resources for other staff initiatives.
  • Able to address operational and personnel issues affecting functional area. Surface issues with potential to affect multiple functional areas, along with ideas for solutions and share the same with General Manager and / or HR.

    Strategic Account Services (SAS) is a program of account management services available to Amazon third-party sellers. SAS Core is our flagship program, where sellers receive personalized service and support to optimize their business on Amazon.

    Open to all sellers in good standing who’ve been on Amazon for at least a year, SAS Core provides strategic advice and actionable recommendations including business plans, detail page review, access to new programs, betas, and deals, issue assistance, and much more.
