Job Description

VMware has an exciting opportunity for a Manager to join the Commissions Team in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

This individual will be responsible for managing global commission operations and driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage a group of commission analyst providing world wide supportPartner with the GEO Commissions Finance teams to review all processes & procedures, and develop & implement standardized processes to drive global consistencyManage and coordinate the SCRB (Sales Commission Review Board) process, preparing weekly tracker for SCRB cases, hosting weekly call and managing communications of SCRB Project manage compensation plan rollout liaising closely with the Global Field Incentive (GFI) team, and managing the communication of all documentation, administration guides & processes required by the GEO Commissions Finance teams and the System team for successful plan executionDevelop, automate and maintain WW commission dashboard / metrics reportingComplete the day to day activities for the assigned regions relating to the VMware sales compensation plans.
  • Drive administration and implementation of financial controls to improve process effectiveness.Provide business partner support to regional Renewals Sales Operations and Finance to assist in driving business results.

    Responsible for the accuracy and deadline-based deliverables related to plan deployment and payroll submission.Generate ad-

    hoc reports periodically and participate in ad-hoc projects as required.Help develop various metrics to monitor health of the business on a regular basis.

    Drive business controls (support SOX compliance).Manage communications with Directors and VP and executives.

    Qualifications :

  • Degree in Business, Finance or related fields.Experience on commissions processes.Schedule flexibility to work with multi-
  • regional teams.3+ years of end-to-end sales compensation administration experience.3+ years of experience as people managerAbility to develop, improve and lead cross-

    functional processes.Proactive in identifying and managing risks.Excellent oral / written communication, interpersonal and planning & organizational skillsStrong problem solving, organization, and process management skills.

    Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.Motivated individual with a desire to learn and to grow in a fast-

    moving environment.Quick learner and interested in developing his or her career in a fast pace and challenging environment.

    Proficient in MS-Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.Experience in Callidus and Varicent is a plus.Experience in SFDC and SAP BOBJ is a plus.
