The title of this position is Advisor Coordinator for the B.A. Interdisciplinary Studies, concentration in Educational and Community Leadership.
The Advisor Coordinator oversees management of all aspects of program advising including individual and group advising sessions, establishing advising resources for community partners, degree program planning, attending program-level meetings, and teaching courses within one’s areas of expertise.
All classes at SJSU, whether online or not, must be anchored in the Canvas platform to ensure faculty-student connection in a common space as all students are directed to log in to Canvas for online access to their classes.

These provisions state the Order of Work, or the order in which available courses must be assigned to faculty, starting with tenure line faculty and ending with new lecturer appointees.
This position is also contingent on final approval of the Interdisciplinary Studies concentration in Educational and Community Leadership by the CSU Chancellor’s office,
