A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Allocates costs, collects data, and prepares reports that maintain the company's cost accounting system.
Applies principles ofaccounting to analyze financial information and prepares internal and externalfinancial reports.
Maintains or overseesthe control of accounts and records in such areas as disbursements, expenses,tax payments and income.
Capital & assetmanagement, withholding tax, GST, Amex Travel.
Global InvoiceProcessing follow-up, accounts payables and aging reviews.
Compiles and analyzesfinancial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review andverify accuracy.
Responsible forcompletion of federal, international and state income tax returns including allrelated analysis and support, including valuation of assets.
Prepares balance sheet,profit and loss and cash flow statements, prepares and consolidates financialstatements, and other accounting schedules and reports.
Prepares externalreporting of the effective tax rate, balance sheet, transfer pricing, cash flowforecasting and the tax footnotes.
Designs, modifies,installs, and / or maintains accounting systems to ensure an adequate recognitionof financial transactions.
Responsible for theadherence to and communication of accounting and auditing policies andprocedures and internal controls.
Gathers historical costdata on such activities as material purchases, labor, equipment depreciation,repairs, assembly, operating expenses, etc.
May be responsible formonth end close.
May be responsible fortechnical support and accounting of M&A activities.
May oversee technicalaccounting research for complex business transactions and implementation of newaccounting standards.
May recommend, design, or develop revisions to the cost accounting system.
Must Have : Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree required in finance and accounting or related.
Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
Nice to Have
Standard Cost Roll and annual standard setting process for bases business and Transference project.
Amex Card Administration
Regional Data, Admin matters, Cash and petty cash matters
OneSource (Tax Reporting).
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, including accuracy in record keeping and correspondence.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
