We are looking for an experienced P2P Manager. This position will be the Global Lead for the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) function, this includes oversight of the Accounts Payable (AP) and Procurement teams.

The purpose of this position is to drive cost reduction, productivity improvement, and increase automation in current procurement and accounts payable functions.

This person will be responsible for developing the talent of both teams.

The role is based in San Jose / Costa Rica and will report directly to the Sr. Finance & Accounting Manager.

Who You Will Work With :

  • The candidate will work closely with our Regional EMEA office, US Corporate Finance, Worldwide Operations, R&D Engineering team and Wind River vendors.
  • This position will be part of the Global Procure to Pay organization team and will report to the Finance & Accounting Senior Manager based in Costa Rica and the Worldwide Operations Director.
  • Responsibilities

  • Direct the development, implementation, and regular review of policies, procedures and objectives for the P2P process in order to increase efficiency of internal processes.
  • Assess, develop, coach and motivate staff to ensure a high performing team.
  • Evaluate the current P2P personnel strengths and opportunities and structure services to meet Company objectives.
  • Ensure tasks and deliverables are accurate and timely.
  • Implement measures to promote a team environment and foster effective communication within the team.
  • Manage use of vendor management system. Evaluate system functionality and efficiency and ensure that users are adequately trained to perform tasks.
  • Evaluate AP and procurement practices in order to identify opportunities to reduce spend, improve the speed of execution, and improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Establish and monitor corporate KPIs and metrics to guide P2P strategy and decisions-making.
  • Establish and evaluate P2P systems and policies; provide direction around purchasing policy and ensure operational requirements are met and maintain proper controls and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing and provide data on the Company’s suppliers to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met.
  • Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of the vendor management system, including procedures and policies to ensure adherence to Company guidelines.
  • Escalation Management & Issue Resolution.
  • Maintain / Optimize Process Architecture (including process standardization, inter function hand-offs.
  • Manage the T&E for employees.
  • Minimum Qualifications :

  • 7+ years of experience in Procure to Pay functions and cross functional / global experience.
  • Proven work experience as a P2P manager with ability to drive cost savings and high-quality results.
  • Experience with contract negotiations, including with 3rd Party Suppliers or subcontractors.
  • Familiarity with global sourcing, global AP and vendor management software and tools.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships.
  • Comfortable with budgets and in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data.
  • BS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration preferred.
