The Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of one large, complex installation project or multiple mid-size installation projects that leverage LP and II systems.
The Project Manager provides effective leadership as well as strong tactical PMI-based project management and administration for assigned projects.
This position will serve as the primary point of contact for problem escalation and resolution during an installation project analyzes and manages stakeholder expectations and uses problem-solving techniques to remove barriers and resolve conflict.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Manage and control the planning, execution and delivery of project deliverables.
Build and manage stakeholder expectations
Manage and control the planning and execution of the project scope.
Create a comprehensive baselined project schedule.
Ensures and manages the efforts to identify, secure, forecast resources required for the project.
Build strong, high-performing project teams.
Manage the development and execution of the project communication plan.
Track and report transparent, factual, and timely progress information to project stakeholders.
Manage and control project issue identification and ensure that problems are resolved
Ensure all required project documentation is current and accurate
Develop and maintain lessons-learned.
Coach and educate all project resources.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements : Education : Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, computer science or other related field.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.Experience : 2-3 years of formal project management with two years of management of field installations.Skills :
Strong leadership skills including influence management, team-building, conflict resolution, negotiation, organizational change management, and emotional intelligence.
Ability to manage and direct multiple complex projects simultaneously to drive solutions that meet or surpass customer expectations and deliver project milestones on-time and within budget.
Demonstrated ability to apply formal PMI-based project management principles and techniques to direct, educate and motivate employees.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey complex and detailed information to a diverse population.
