The opportunity

On the Design Research & Strategy team, our mission is to lay a people-centered and data-driven foundation for Adobe product design and development.

We are seeking a Senior Experience Researcher to join our Research Practices team help build out our growth research vision.

What you’ll be working on

Growth researchers work end-to-end with product growth squads to identify growth opportunities across the customer journey, develop effective hypotheses, and create experimental protocols to test these hypotheses.

These activities include :

  • Analyze the growth funnel to identify and investigate core barriers / opportunities.
  • Seek out primary / secondary research (and collaborates across the research org) to drive growth hypotheses.
  • Partner to develop growth experiments that provide ongoing learning and value for the team (including experimental testing methodologies for producing rapid and accurate results).
  • Synthesize results across experiments to develop insights
  • Maintain and communicate insights with the product team for ongoing learning and knowledge transfer
  • What you’ll bring to the team

    Experience with product growth models and methods : The ideal candidate has worked directly with growth teams to help drive hypothesis testing and can demonstrate measurable impact on key product success metrics.

  • Your experience evolving customer research methods to address barriers to growth, acquisition, and engagement.
  • Creative problem solver who can identify quick and effective methods to test growth-focused hypotheses
  • Strong experiment design skills (e.g., A / B & hypothesis testing, rapid iterative testing, MORE ) and the ability to help teams think through the most effective and efficient testing methods.
  • Strong qualitative research skills (e.g., interviewing, concept testing, ethnography)
  • Quantitative data / statistical literacy (e.g., understanding of ANOVA, standard error, measurement validity / reliability, correlation)
  • Confident synthesizing information across both qual and quant sources.
  • Strong collaboration skills both within research and across product, data science, engineering, and design
  • Experience with Adobe's Document Cloud products and services is a plus
