This role resides in the LATAM Digital Finance group. This group is responsible for executing projects to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the LATAM finance organization.

The LATAM Finance organization provides financial planning and analysis, control, tax, and local regulatory financial reporting for Citi businesses in Latin America.

This role is responsible for managing process improvement projects in the Mexico and LATAM Finance organization. Responsibilities include planning, leading, and managing team activities including leading team to select processes, gather data, prepare and present detailed process materials, make recommendations to improve processes, lead process redesign activities, and facilitate training on process improvement.

  • Travel may vary based on project needs, up to 40%
  • Main responsibilities of the role may include :

  • Building and managing a process improvement book of work for the LATAM and Mexico Finance organizations
  • Developing the Digital Finance team to help individual team members grow and build the organizations capabilities
  • Managing the development of detailed process materials including, but not limited to, detailed process flows, headcount analyses, pain point identification, technology overlays, and global process overlays by gathering information through existing documentation analysis, stakeholder interviews, process shadowing, and workshops
  • Leading process redesign workshops and designing processes for improved results
  • Supporting business owners with the implementation of redesigned processes
  • Planning and executing process improvement training activities for the Finance Organization
  • Lead one-off transformation projects across a broader organization, as assigned
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, etc.), Advanced degree highly preferred
  • Strong project management experience and / or certification (e.g., PMP)
  • English proficiency as a C1 (MCER)
  • Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory / management / leadership role
  • Experience leading process improvement projects and transformation effort
  • Formal training on a process improvement methodology (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.) or 3+ years of experience in an operations consulting role at a large consulting firm
  • Min of 5 years of experience in banking or finance
  • Very proficient with MS PowerPoint and Excel
  • Well-developed communication skills and ability to present, argue or defend a posture regarding a decision or project
  • Well-developed logical structuring approach to solving problems, framing ideas, or developing plans
  • Previous experience in meeting tight deadlines while producing quality work
  • Well-developed network within Citi to enable effective project delivery preferred
  • History of effectively managing risks and identifying required controls.
