The Commissions Finance Team is the key connecting point between Finance, Sales Operations, Global Incentives, and Field Sales teams.
We are professionals with advanced analytical skills, solid understanding of the sales compensation cycle, very detail-oriented individuals, and experienced communicators.
The Commissions Finance Team has worldwide responsibilities for managing the commissions plans and resulting earnings that get submitted to Payroll, administering the deployment of compensation plans to the Sales Field as well as consulting with the System Administration Team on the setup of the appropriate compensation framework.

Job Role and Responsibilities :
The primary responsibility of the Commissions Analyst is to ensure the most accurate calculation of variable compensation to be paid to the Sales Community members across AMER (LATAM, U.
S and Canada) on a monthly basis, as well as partnering with different operational stakeholders for the P2P process.
Complete the day to day activities for the assigned regions relating to the VMware sales compensation plans
Drive administration and implementation of financial controls to improve process effectiveness
Provide business partner support to regional Sales Operations and Finance to assist in driving business results
Responsible for the accuracy and deadline-based deliverables related to plan deployment and payroll submission
Generate ad-hoc reports periodically and participate in ad-hoc projects as required
Drive the integration of compensation processes related to mergers and acquisitions
Required Skills :
Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting or equivalent related work experience
2+ years previous work experience in finance, compensation, and / or sales administration
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
Strong problem solving, organization, and process management skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills :
Knowledge of vBA, Knime, SAP
Experience using ICM and CMT tools
