Entry level position into Tech Data's sales organization. Primarily an administrative role, the position purpose is to support the sales organization by owning administrative processes to ensure that customers’ needs are met.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required :
Learning basic terminology / concepts associated with account management
Performs all clerical and administrative duties for the assigned sales department and or sales team
Performs sales order processing Processes orders, promo requests and quotes.
Runs reports, data entry, promo requests, email follow up, database management, order tracking
Manages routine inbound and outbound sales calls in order to quote prices and place orders for product and services to ensure daily and quarterly sales goals are met
Answers customer questions on pricing, availability information on products, and any shipping or service issues related to placed orders at a functional level, may require assistance
Handles issue resolution such as shipping / stock, promotional adjustments
Requires functional level of interpersonal skills Maintains daily transactional engagement with the customer and internal partners
Represents Tech Data professionally in daily interface with business partners / customers Performs other additional duties as assigned

Required Educational :
High School / G.E.D. Preferred Educational : Bachelor Degree
