GBS LAO Master Data Coordinator Job Description Key Responsibilities : · Develop, seek endorsement and maintain global master data standards, rules, and processes that drive data quality and business value.
Ensure these are documented and subject to strict change control. · Manage the standard metric management process in alignment with global standards.
Identify and develop metrics vital to global stakeholder process management. · Global project leadership in all master data domains.
Work with identified data owners where enforcement is required. · Align strategic direction of all global regional domains to the global master data strategy.
o Following a merger or acquisition activity, ensure data quality standards are maintained through the data integration project by providing data quality consultation, coordination and support · Leads a team of 6 to 8 team leaders and master data professionals.
Ensure that master data is consumed in line with corporate data policy, and standards. · Master Data expert managing global data from conception to retirement o Performs complex analysis and data investigations o Identify and lead cross regional continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, adjust to changing business needs, or improve internal control o Manage complex processes / activity such as restructuring activities, acquisition integrations, and divestiture extrications o Expertise in multiple master data domains · Manage all aspects of internal controls including adhering to all CFIs, ethical standards, and external requirements.
Ensure all involved in master data maintenance processes are fully aware and in compliance.
Work with process owners where enforcement is required.
Graduate degree strongly preferred · At least 5 years’ of experience in shared services leadership as well as a thorough understanding of end-
to-end process management · Excellent communication (multi-lingual preferred), interpersonal and influencing skills required · Outstanding leadership and excellent project management skills with demonstrated capability to influence and drive standardization across regional teams · Must be results oriented and possess strong initiative · An aptitude for working with technology and technical concepts · Experience successfully collaborating and productively interacting with a wide variety of cultures including outsource providers is essential · Experience with master data creation and maintenance · CI leadership experience · Experience leading change utilizing change management tools and skills · A thorough understanding of K-
