YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performing transactional and recurring day-to-day tasks on legal, compliance and / or data privacy matters, and support the assessment of requests originated by Business Units and Platform.
Functions in Bayer legal entities within the Region and within the assigned area of work, protecting the assets and reputation of Bayer and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Provide advice in general within the area of Compliance (e.g. Anti-Corruption, Anti-Trust, Conflict of interest), and support Third Party Due Diligence checks and approvals.
Provide advice and contribute to approval workflows in the area of Code Compliance, advise on and handle approval workflows for donations and sponsorships.
Handle the Integrated Compliance Management and support the Effectiveness Monitoring for certain compliance risk areas.
Provide Data Privacy consultancy and perform elements of the global Data Privacy Management System (DPMS) for operational handling,
Support and monitor the roll out and participation in LPC (Law, Patents & Compliance) driven web-based trainings, including communication campaigns, advising business and platform functions on organization and responsibilities within LPC.
Implement LPC (Law, Patents & Compliance) routines & (digital) tools of work organization.
WHO YOU ARE
University degree in Law, Compliance, Business Administration, IT, Information Security, Controlling / Audit or related disciplines.
Fluent English language level (oral and written). Fluency in other languages is a plus.
A minimum of 4 years professional experience in the area of legal, and / or compliance and / or data privacy.
Experience in international law firms or multinational companies is desirable.
High communication and training skills.
Goal-oriented, hands-on, proactive team player.
Basic knowledge of Compliance Management Systems is desirable.
Basic Knowledge on anti-corruption, anti-trust, data privacy or laws relevant to the Health Care or Crop Science industries is desirable.
Knowledge in MS Office and knowledge in handling management tools.
