Role Summary :

The Associate role is part of a North America Technology Services team. The candidate will be knowledgeable on

business use cases, technical concepts, practices and procedures related to application development and

modification (Azure, Office365, MS Teams, AWS, and others).

This is a client-facing role that advises the customer on delivery activities and business use cases related to the

Technology Services practice. The Associate will coordinate with back-end development and security and present

finding and recommendations to the clients while driving consultative selling activities within the customer


The Associate will attend a 3-month SoftwareONE Academy training to learn about SoftwareONE’s business model,

service offerings, and business culture. During this time, the Associate will have opportunities to be paired with expert

mentors and shadow live customer engagements.

The Associate will :

  • Deliver high-quality project delivery documentation.
  • Provide guidance to customers, driving solution architecture, and ensuring solution strategy is optimally
  • aligned with the customers desired business outcome.

  • Perform infrastructure analysis and articulate areas of risk to make recommendations on how to avoid pitfalls.
  • Maintain and manage successful relationships with key stakeholders, management, and technical groups.
  • Additional responsibilities may include :

  • Track solution deliverables towards the timeline and statement of work.
  • Develop deep relationships with key customer IT decision makers, who drive long-term security management
  • and cloud adoption within their company.

  • Maintain and advance deep technical skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with market trends and
  • competitive insights, and share within the technical community.

  • Responsible for supporting and improving on an on-going basis the security components within the technology
  • services field operations.

  • Create documentation and reports on engagement

  • Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal (85% or higher).
  • Excellent active listening skills.

  • Ability to articulate messages to executives and technical resources.
  • Required Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
  • Broad business, operational, and technical infrastructure knowledge.
  • Highly motivated and results oriented.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of
  • information with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to evaluate requirements and technical specifications for solution design fit
  • Desirable Skills & Certifications :

    Preferred : Knowledge in the following technology areas :

  • Security Configurations
  • Software Development Lifecycles
  • Office / Microsoft 365
  • Azure / AWS Architecture
  • SCCM & Intune (OSD)
  • Degree preferred, but not required (in the field of Computer Information Systems / Computer Science and / or or
  • equivalent combination of experience and education).
