Responsibilities

  • Be part of the IoT business segment team within the Edge Processing Business Line, with responsibilities across multiple IoT subsegments, primary focused on building and delivering revenues from MCU / MPU products.
  • Collaborate with other IoT marketing managers, Product Management teams, systems / application engineering teams, regional sales and FAE teams to consolidate requirements for HW / SW products, and drive implementation of the requirements.
  • Support regional sales and FAE teams for customer design-in activities, provide supporting material, and develop solution value proposition to accelerate design wins and revenue growth.
  • Provide reference solution requirements for engineering teams to develop enablement platforms to drive revenue generation activities through direct and distribution channels.
  • Drive ecosystem of partners to develop solutions enabling customers to accelerate launch of innovative IoT products.
  • Support other IoT segments managers as needed to broaden the opportunities for NXP IoT MPU / MCU portfolio.
  • Provide training & promotion material to regional sales / support teams and distribution partners.
  • Qualifications :

  • BSEE or MSEE required.
  • 5+ years of experience in semiconductor / electronic engineering, marketing, and sales.
  • Knowledge of application processors, SW stack, and middleware for smart home platforms.
  • Knowledge of audio, voice and speech solutions for smart home applications.
  • Ability to learn different connectivity protocol / eco system for connected home. E.g. Home Kit, Zigbee, Thread, matter, etc.
  • Ability to create detailed technical requirement documents for product management and engineering teams.
  • Ability to develop strategic plans, short- and long-term forecasting models.
  • Ability to work closely with regional sales / engineering teams worldwide to fully support customers.
  • Hands-on and detailed oriented to bring tasks and issues to resolutions quickly and efficiently.
  • Agile, flexible, motivated, and committed to the success of the NXP teams.
  • Travel as need in support of sales and trade show activities.
  • Strong communications skills and English writing / speaking proficiency is a must.
