A Software Architect (SA) designs and develops software systems and applications guide-lines. He / She must be able to evaluate and identify software solutions
Coaching and mentoring one’s development team is a common requirement of the Software Architect. They are expected to share their skills and expertise with their staff as well as set a positive example for them.
They need to be able to encourage their team members to think creatively as well as keep them motivated.
Documentation is a very important part of the Software Architect’s job. Every aspect of a system or application must be thoroughly recorded.
These documents will serve as references for new employees and for future maintenance on the system. Software Architects must be able to communicate well through writing and be able to create flowcharts and diagrams.
Certify Programming Libraries for both : Backend and Frontend Systems
Keep all Dev. Diagrams up to date (keep every body updated on the changes)
Leads the API Documentation Web Site
Make Decisions around Architecture. Share decisions with the rest of the Management
Ci / CD Champion
Dev & QA Environments Owner
Establish coding standards for all programming languages used
Create a library of Design Patterns
Tech Talks Coordinator (one per month)
3-5 Years of experience leading software development teams
Experience with GIT, Cache frameworks and Queuing frameworks
Docker (basic exposure)
Unit Testing (junit, unittest)
Agile Development Methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
Web services (REST and SOAP, Creating API endpoints)
Application Server experience (Jboss, Wildfly)
Strong Data Skillset (SQL, Postgres, JSON, No-SQL DBs)
BS / MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
