Gorilla Logic is working with our client, who is an industry leader in providing satellite imagery to the public and government institutions to help build their team of highly intelligent and capable engineers.
Our client is looking for a DevOps Engineer to work with a local team to support multiple cloud migration efforts, this is a unique and highly technical role, requiring extensive experience with continuous integration, Amazon Web Services, networking, security, Linux and application monitoring.

Design, implement and maintain a highly scalable web application infrastructure at AWS
Design, implement and maintain a continuous integration environment based in Jenkins.
Deploy and maintain product releases for multiple languages on CloudFoundry.
Help design and maintain a secure CI / CD pipeline using multiple code quality, security and testing frameworks.
Architect and implement an application monitoring infrastructure
Work as an active participant in an Agile development environment; attend daily standups, sprint planning and retrospectives.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of Linux administration experience with good understanding of networking, hardware, storage and general administration.
3+ years of experience with various Amazon Web Services
2+ years of experience building and managing a continuous integration environment based on Jenkins
2+ years of experience using containers and at least one container orchestration solution, Docker and Kubernetes preferred.
2+ years of experience using some configuration management solution, Chef preferred.
2+ Experience with infrastructure as code solutions, strong emphasis on Terraform or CloudFormation.
Experience writing Jenkins pipelines or Groovy experience.
Vast experience with shell scripting
Availability for on-call rotation.
Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Experience designing and implementing infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools
Experience developing and implementing alerting solutions
AWS certifications highly desirable
Linux certifications (RedHat, Linux+, LPIC) highly desirable
Proficiency with network tools such as iptables, Linux IPVS, HAProxy, etc.
Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments
