Position Summary :
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for the sales of products and services to an established territory of accounts by utilizing the phone, e-
mail, Internet, and other technology. The primary focus of the position is General Exporters (US based exporters ) and some small in-
country dealers that are currently be underserved by the existing sales force. In addition, there will be some focus on zero dollar accounts.
Exceed sales and profit forecasts by maintaining existing customer relations and developing opportunities within an existing customer base
Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to expand business opportunities at Buying Offices corporate accounts
Develop business opportunities in zero dollar accounts
Meet and / or exceed call metrics on monthly / quarterly / annual basis
Research competitor and industry activity and keep informed of new products / services and other general information of interest to customers incorporating this data into the business plan;
introduce new products and services
Communicate with supervisor any customer issues or potential problems, perform other tasks assigned by manager
Manage pricing and negotiates within territory to control profitability
Inform customers of supply and price trends and assist in inventory control, consults with customers
Positively represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at all times throughout customer locations
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the sciences
1-3 years selling experience
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills
Proven record of establishing goals and achieving results
Must possess a strong desire to serve the customer
Must deliver excellent customer service
Must possess the organizational skills to multi-task and meet deadlines as needed
Multi Lingual preferred, English and Spanish
Computer proficiency in MS Office and the Internet
