Junior Collector MFG US

Description :

The Jr. Collector role is located in Costa Rica and under the direction of the Order to cash. This role is an entry level role responsible for performing collections work of simple to moderate complexity.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Evaluate and approve order releases based on established authority levels
  • Perform collections efforts of customer account balances while maintaining customer relationships
  • Complete customer account reconciliations with moderate financial impact
  • Contact external customers as well as credit / store personnel to clarify or obtain additional information to accurately complete the collection process
  • Works with other departments, outside providers, internal customers, and external clients to resolve issues or improve process, and ensure understanding by all parties
  • Maintain delivery of service levels and generate and communicate results on same
  • Troubleshoots various inquiries with appropriate research and problem-solving techniques by applying limited judgment and discretion
  • Participate in medium sized projects providing recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Use excellent verbal and written communication skills to build strong relationships, share recommendations and knowledge to multiple audiences including cross functional teams, internal customers, external clients, and management
  • Select tools and approach for work assignments and projects
  • Work with field and sales management regarding customer issues
  • Requisitos

    QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS :

  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or related career in progres
  • Advanced English Skills C1 (required)
  • Advanced Excel Skills (Preferred)
  • At least 1 year in actual position (required for internal candidates)
