Pay Rate: $18-30 an hour with Bonus Commission Structure

Location: Los Angeles / Sacramento / San Jose / San Francisco / San Diego / Irvine / Riverside / Fresno / Bakersfield, California

Opportunity: Join Bluefin Wireless, an industry leader who is serving California communities by being ambassadors for the government provided Lifeline program. Bluefin Wireless is providing qualified consumers with free wireless service lines that include unlimited calling and texting, we also provide free data, and a complimentary Android smartphone free of charge. The current areas that Bluefin Wireless is servicing are Sacramento, Los Angeles, and Fresno and is ready to expand into the Bay Area, Riverside County and San Diego County. Since the company is moving toward expansion the company is hiring motivated and compassionate individuals who are able to understand the ins and outs of the lifeline program and needs to be patient to communicate the details effectively to consumers entering into the program. Although customer service and sales experience would be a plus the company is not excluding individuals that don’t have experience in either field. Candidates should be able to explain what skills or experiences they have that will make them a good brand ambassador for this program. New hires with no experience will be trained for the job and should expect an average between $16,000 - $40,000 their first year based off being part time or full time. After being trained in the industry and having experience; advanced hires can expect to make between $30,000 a year as part-time agents and $110,000 a year as full-time agents. your income will depend on your schedule and the time you spend as an agent.  

  Pre-requisites 

  • Driver’s license or Government issued Identification
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to read, write and speak English. Bilingual is a plus
  • Must be able to pass a background check  
  • 18+ years of age

  • Able to handle the use of a smartphone
  • Ability to comprehend processes and results
  • Coachable/ willing to learn
  • Strong work ethic
  • Must pass lifeline compliance requirements for the program and maintain fraud prevention standards

Responsibilities

  • Represent the Bluefin Wireless brand and Lifeline program in a professional and positive manner
  • Effectively explain the lifeline program and its requirements for consumer eligibility 
  • Understand the process of verifying documents for authenticity for eligible consumers, enrolling them and then activating their phone.
  • Follow company and Lifeline regulatory protocols
  • Execute marketing strategies, maintaining inventory and supplies
  • Able to handle reports, accounting for product and activity daily
  • Serving the community and delivering a great brand experience.
