The Digital Intelligence team is part of Experian’s Global Finance Services (GFS) organisation. We partner with a wide range of stakeholders from across our business to define our reporting strategy, co-ordinate impactful change projects, design and develop insightful reports, drive continual improvements to data quality, implement effective system controls, and support and train users of our reporting systems.
The team consists of a mixture of business analysts, report developers and project managers. We are a global team, with representatives in the United Kingdom, North America, Malaysia and Bulgaria.
In this senior role, you will be a key player in the definition and execution of our reporting strategy. You will use your experience and knowledge to help shape the outcome of reporting projects to ensure maximum insight is delivered to our users, including Experian’s executive global leadership team.
You will help to drive change, pursue efficiencies and accelerate speed of insight.

Additionally, you will assume responsibility for a small team of talented report developers, guiding their day-to-day activities, helping them to deepen their knowledge of Tableau, and continue their progress against their personal development plans.
What you'll be doing :
Lead our Tableau development team day-to-day
Deliver innovative and impactful report solutions that exceed expectations by improving speed of insight and increasing operational productivity
Evolve and embed technical design best practice in Tableau reporting and data preparation activities
Use your expertise to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical capabilities guiding process and systems decisions both big and small
Own the development cycle of key projects either in a hands-on capacity, or by helping the team with design flair, problem solving, quality control and attention to detail
Effective communication of status, options and updates to a broad range of stakeholders from all levels of Experian’s global organization.
Proven business leader with a strong track record of delivering transformation and change
Minimum of 5 years experience in business intelligence roles and / or data analytics roles
Strong understanding of Tableau’s advanced features established through hands-on use of the application
First class knowledge of data visualization best practice and pitfalls
Credible and authentic communicator, capable of leading others through ambiguity and change
Ability to understand the perspective and requirements of different stakeholders
First-class organization and attention to detail
Technical or other relevant degree preferred
Tableau certification preferred
Proven previous job stability, including maintaining long-term work relationships with former employers
Must be able to clear the company’s pre-employment screening
Experience using Tableau Prep, or other data preparation tools such as Alteryx
Technical understanding of big data architecture and system integrations
Working knowledge of Finance or Sales systems such as Oracle, Hyperion, SAP, Salesforce
Experience of developing / supporting finance reporting
Lean six sigma certified
