Duties & Responsibilities
The Technical Process Coordinator will be in charge of the Part Modify Action Process in Teamcenter (Product Data Management system).
Using technical knowledge, the Process Coordinator will perform a first pass assessment of the technical aspects related to the changes being requested and determines if the modify action should be sent to the next level of review (Commodity Engineering), be rejected or if it needs further data for proper analysis.
The Technical Process Coordinator must coordinate with a group of engineers worldwide to timely review and approve Modify Request via Teamcenter PLM system.
This role will also be responsible for keeping the data up to date and to fix problems identified by engineering or our Contract Manufacturers.
This role will also be responsible for the AVL Issues process in which our Contract Manufacturer send problems or issues found in our AVL or supply chain, and that may be putting in risk Teradyne revenue production.
In this process, the initial technical review performed by the coordinator is key to quickly move the request to commodity engineering or get the request back to the contract manufacturer for further information.
This position plays a key role in expediting the resolution of AVL problems that keep our contract manufactures from driving the materials needed to support the company production, revenue plan and profit.
