We are looking for a hands-on Financial Senior Analyst to be a key member North America FP&A Team based on Costa Rica, supporting the business units of Credit Information Services (CIS) and Direct to Consumer (D2C).

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and providing insight on key performance metrics, partnering with the business to support initiatives and manage costs, revenue / cost forecasting and ad hoc analysis.

The successful candidate will be accountable for the following key duties and responsibilities :

  • Prepare in-depth analysis on drivers of cost and revenue movements and research variances across source systems
  • Prepare monthly management reports and support ad hoc requests for revenue / cost reporting and analysis.
  • Analyze and interpret operating results and investigate variances
  • Collaborate with functional leaders across 2 different business units (CIS and D2C) to manage cost support, provide strategic direction, and act as a thought partner for critical business decisions.
  • Run multiply revenue report and month end maintenance processes.
  • Maintain responsibility for all non-labor and technology related costs and (including, but not limited to, marketing and events, professional fees, printing and supplies, interdivisional recharges, etc.)
  • Continuously focus on and implement process improvements, utilizing RPA and the centralized finance hub where possible
  • Provide guidance to or gather explanations from BU Finance teams for all finance related increases, reductions, opportunities, etc.
  • Build Ad-hoc analysis reports to present different scenarios and solutions across BU's, as needed.
  • Manage monthly close, forecast and budget processes using Hyperion.
  • Drive continuous improvements in forecast accuracy, process efficiencies, and system automations
  • Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics
  • Create and maintain desktop procedure documents for routine processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or other related Bachelor degree
  • Master in Business Administration, Certified Public Accountant, other related Master degree preferred
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in Finance
  • Strong business partnering skills with a focus on customer service and responsiveness, preferably experience supporting other finance professionals
  • Experience with month end processes and reporting, GL (General Ledger), and P&L analysis / variance explanations.
  • Experience running forecast and budget processes.
  • Experience presenting and partnering with Senior Leader levels.
  • Strong Excel skill required. Experience / knowledge of financial systems and tools including OBIEE, Hyperion Planning / Essbase and Smartview preferred.
  • Tableau knowledge, nice to have.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong English fluency
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and solve problems in a team environment
  • Excellent skills in data analytics with the ability to draw concise insights from large sets of data.
  • Ability to balance between detail orientation and the high-level summaries while maintaining accuracy.
  • Aptitude to learn and drive continuous improvement and solve problems in a team environment. Experience leading improvement efforts preferred.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who manages projects end-to-end and has a demonstrated track record of getting results, organizing and prioritizing deadlines.
  • Ability to multi -ask several important priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. Ability to have fun and bring a sense of humor to work.
