We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join Thales based on the West Coast, United States . This role is to lead the development of new value propositions in the context of the Cloud Protection & Licensing (CPL) Cloud Strategy.

Key Responsibilities :

Identify new value propositions in relation with cloud strategy and hyperscalers.

Build and manage strategic partnerships with hyperscalers in line with cloud strategy and identify potential showstoppers in the early phases.

Increase opportunity pipeline and win rate on business related with strategic hyperscalers.

Qualify new value propositions, by capturing feedback from partners, creating a business model(s), and analyzing the best go-to-market strategy.

Assist in successfully implementing new offers, and win first contracts.

Provide feedback to the product teams regarding product strategic orientation.

Ensure the alignment between sales leads and business line strategy & KAM.

Promote innovation capabilities toward strategic partners.

Required Skills and Experience :

Education :

Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent Work experience

2+ years of Technical Solutions Sales experience preferably in an enterprise IT environment focused on Data Security, Encryption, Key Management, Digital Payments, and / or Cloud Security

2+ Previous experience building key partner relationships ideally with hyperscalers

Technical operational knowledge

Knows and understands BL(s) product policy

Preferred Qualifications :

Education :

M.B.A. or Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited university.

Skills & Experience :

2+ years of prior technical experience in security domain (programming, development, product management)

2+ years familiarity with the security and cloud computing market and technology

2+ years of experience in business development in the cloud industry or security industry.

Awareness of the Thales CPL data protection and IAM product portfolio, or 3+ years expertise on cloud security technology

Strong written and verbal communication skills
