The Manager, GBS Shared Services Performance & Analytics Management will play a key leadership role in driving performance analysis, analytics, dashboards and reporting throughout GBS globally.
The individual will lead a team responsible for the development and management of analytics, dashboards, performance metrics and reporting needs of various teams globally throughout GBS Shared Services and across different workstreams including OTC, RTR, PTP and others.
The objective would be to prepare Thermo Fisher to effectively & efficiently scale up to the company’s 2030 vision of becoming a $50B revenue organization
Key Responsibilities :
Partner with Productivity & Performance Managers (SMEs) across workstreams to evaluate and prioritize reporting, dashboard and analytics requests
Evaluate trade offs between project size and complexity, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value in order to prioritize requests
Properly align resources and ensure a shared vision to guide teams to projects completion on time
Lead reviews with stakeholders to identify organic or specific program needs and changes, and directs the development of appropriate approaches to address.
Identify and define appropriate measures of performance, baselines, benchmarks, success criteria, effectiveness and leading / lagging indicators along with the calculations, interpretations, and analysis of results to support the design, development, and deployment of analytics
Lead team on design, development and implementation of analytics solutions using Microsoft Power BI
Lead team performing data mining, cleansing, and manipulation; identify necessary data elements and their sources, leverage appropriate tools to acquire and consolidate large volumes of data from different sources
Work with team and stakeholders to ensure that all models are effectively scaled
Develop and build metrics and tracking to ensure value is captured from analytical models being developed and deployed
Possess depth and breadth of understanding of business value drivers and corresponding business impact
Develop performance measures, benchmarks, baseline, success criteria and consistently report
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications :
8+ years of progressive work experience in finance, accounting with 3-5 years shared services environment or in a consulting capacity
Proficiency with data analysis tools like SQL and ETL concept,
Experience with RPA tools like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Work Fusion is desired.
Alteryx Knowledge a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Power BI, Power Apps experience
Solid understanding of complex databases and data warehouses
Experience in a Productivity & Performance Management team / role would be a plus
Analytical and problem solving capacities to synthesize large quantities of complex data to generate meaningful insights
Proven ability to interact with multiple levels of leadership both internally and externally, and influence peers and senior management in a complex, geographically dispersed matrix organization
